A confocal microscope LSM 700 by Zeiss is installed in the laboratory for Functional Fluorescence Microscopy Imaging, L5:02 room 020a. This instrument, equipped with 4 lasers for fluorescence excitation: 405 nm, 488 nm, 455 nm and 639 nm and two channels for fluorescence detection, enables the separation of emission light between the two detectors with 1 nm step size and visualization of weak fluorescence signals from delicate samples.
