The CMM researcher Roland Nilsson in the Computational Medicine Group has a newly published article about the growth of cancer cells in Science. Together with his colleagues in the US, he has studied the metabolism of different cancer cells and discovered that the amino acid glycine is important for their proliferation. The discovery could lead to new approaches regarding cancer treatment in the future.
