CMM welcomes two new reserach groups:

Professor John Pernow has become Group Leader for the Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery Unit, consisting of two research teams, lead by Professor Pernow and Professor Anders Franco-Cereceda respectively.  This unit sprung from the Cardiovascular Surgery and Cardiology Laboratory, headed by Professor Ulf Hedin. Professor Hedin's group has due to this reorganization changed its name to Vascular Surgery.

Jesper Tegnér is the new Professor in Computational Medicine at the KI Department of Medicine, Solna from 1 January 2010. He has also been approved Group Leader at CMM and will be head of the Computational Medicine Unit. He and his group will move in to the CMM Building in the beginning of 2010. Information about his research will be published in the near future.
