Molecular Imager Gel Doc XR System with upgrade to the ChemiDoc XRS system

The Gel Doc XR documentation system is a high-resolution gel imaging system from Bio-Rad. The system includes camera, UV- and white-light illumination, filter slider with amber filter, and UV-protection shield. It has recently been upgraded to the ChemiDoc XRS system. The application includes analyses of DNA and protein gels and chemiluminescence for Western blots.

It is located in room 0031 (Big photo room), CMM, L8:00 and available from Monday to Friday. The room is locked during weekends. The running cost is shared by all users and people should provide the information of their own names, group leaders’ names, addresses, and phone number in the booking list.
