Diagnostics, therapies and prevention
The ultimate aims for the research carried out at CMM are to provide new knowledge which can benefit patients suffering from diseases that we focus on, to acquire basic knowledge about mechanisms causing diseases and to maintain health. As we are in constant contact with clinical care at the Karolinska University Hospital the results from our research are translated directly into new diagnostics, therapies and new preventive strategies.
