CMM researcher Ulf Hedin receives Heart-Lung Foundation’s Great Research Grant 2018
The great research grant is awarded annually, and is the largest individual grant by the Heart Lung Foundation. One researcher is awarded a total of SEK 15 million, to create the conditions for a crucial research breakthrough.
- The aim of our research is to develop a blood sample that can identify individuals with unstable arteriosclerosis, a common cause of stroke and myocardial infarction, says Ulf Hedin.
The research grant was handed by HRH Prince Daniel to Professor Ulf Hedin and his co applicant Ljubica Matic during a ceremony on June 5th.
