Qiaolin Deng Receives Two Consolidator Grants

The Swedish Research Council (Vetenskapsrådet) has awarded Associate Professor Qiaolin Deng and CMM Team Leader with a total of SEK 12 000 000 over six years (including her remaining project grant of SEK 2 200 000). The purpose of the grant is to give the most prominent junior researchers the opportunity to consolidate their research and broaden their activities as independent researchers. The title of the awarded project is “A programming perspective of the germline cycle on origin of germ cell tumors and epigenetic inheritance of diseases”.

Qiaolin also received a consolidator grant from Karolinska Institutet, which is a five years' funding through which Karolinska Institutet invests in already employed distinguished researchers whose doctoral degree is not more than twelve years old.
